Irish teacher gaoled for contempt, on the back of refusing to use a tranny’s neo-pronouns, released despite his persistent refusal to purge his contempt

Not often to see a court visibly cope, but Enoch Burke has stood his ground and has clearly now left the courts embarrassed. He’ll probably be back in clink again soon when he defies the court order again, but it is rare and wonderful to see such a David vs Goliath victory in the courts.

“The only plausible interpretation of Burke’s actions is that he sees some advantage in his continuing imprisonment, otherwise he would have either avoided his jailing or taken the opportunity to bring it to an end.”

These kikes just can't imagine that someone would rather stay in prison than abandon their ideals. "Oi McVey! He's gotta be up to something, otherwise he'd be a good goy and renounce his beliefs to get outta gaol!"

(((They))) know that if it were THEM facing some form of confinement or discomfort, they'd say literally anything to avoid it. And since they believe themselves to be far above the goyim, they can't fathom someone having actual convictions that they're willing to suffer for.

The judge added that obeying a court order was not inconsistent with Christian principles, adding that “it was strange that Burke would behave as if this was so.”

"Oy vey goy! Obeying the court isn't un-Christian, so just submit, goy! Even though you're resisting an unjust and unnatural law, be a "Good Christian" and submit! SUBMIT NOW, GOYIM! SUBMIT! SUBMIT! SUBMIT! OOOOOYYYYY VVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The funny thing is I remember this happening before, and it was an embarrassment to the courts then too. A group of protestors in the west kept trying to block Shell from building a pipeline. A court order was granted to Shell to stop the protestors doing this, they continued anyway, were held in contempt and locked up. These were decent family men and any time they were released they went back to blocking the construction, and every time they were locked up public support for them grew. It takes spectacular arrogance not to learn from mistakes like that I think.

Nice use of ‘gaol’!

I actually use that a lot.

Ha thanks! It wasn’t really intentional though, we rarely use that word here and that’s the spelling that came to mind when I was typing the title. People here are either imprisoned (when convicted) or held on remand if refused bail, so it’s only in odd cases like this that we need to say someone is jailed (or gaoled). But we do have quite a few very old prisons that are now tourist attractions, all of which are called gaols (I don’t think the jail spelling was even in use when they were constructed) so that’s probably why I defaulted to that spelling.

I learned of the 'gaol' from a computer adventure game way back when I was a kid. (Pretty sure it was Ultima III.) Been using it ever since.

Small win, but a win never the less. Glad he will be able to be home with his family.
