This could be incredibly beneficial for European businesses, at least in this situation. Fewer females in the work place will do two things, initially. One, it'll lead to an increase in productivity as business falls to men for three week increments. Two, it'll also prompt men on the job to notice females have synced their periods when the newly hired one takes menstrual leave.

European companies are mandated to have a gender quota on their boards, so companies will be able to discretely schedule their critical board meetings for when female board members are on menstrual leave. The other execs could even go so far as to make menstrual leave participation mandatory for all female staff, threatening to fire any female who refuses to take menstrual leave to protect themselves from potential liability for failing to support her reproductive health.

I could keep going the more I think on it, but the best strategy here is to be a retrograde. Jump on the bandwagon and break the cart. The sooner, the better.
