Our best and brightest is not exactly represented in our military.
There are exceptions but generally the rule is that if you can't or won't be useful when your reach adulthood(18) then you go into the military where they basically take any dumpfuck with an 80+ IQ.
I knew a recruiter, career guy, whose circuit was Appalachia and he's in these shacks, with dirt floors trying to explain the value of joining the US Military to the parents of these kids. It's the right thing to do, few opportunities there for education or advancement and a clan mentality that can best be described as "crabs in a bucket".
It's nigger "work". They actually teach them to wait.......because like all government operations they don't have to rely on profit so service isn't really a priority.
85+ IQ. They did tests back in the day. Coincidentally enough, the original IQ number for retardation was one standard deviation from the norm. In other words, an 85IQ.
This, somehow even more coincidentally, is about where the drop-off is of usefulness, even as a simple bullet-catching cannon-fodder for the army. They found that it took more resources(manpower) for anyone of 85IQ or below than they could get out of them. IE: they had to have more people babysit them so they didn't kill themselves or their own people than the amount of work they got out of them.
Of course the modern military isn't about effectiveness in battle, so a sub-85IQ is just fine. So long as you meet the real(hidden) criteria of not being a straight, White man. Though even then, if you show sufficient bowing to isreal you will probably get in.
In the past I have worked on some remote sites during long projects. On the rare occasion a female of ANY caliber came, everyone stopped and stared. These were men who had good looking wives at home and/or made enough money to easily get women. But when you're working hard in a remote area for extended periods only surrounded by dudes, females will captivate your attention.

@Whitehotsun, not saying you are German. The NATO sub-command base, AFCENT, was near Heerlen, NL. Not far at all, if you stood on top of the Aachen Rathaus you could almost piss into AFCENT's backyard. That command is noted as being JFC Brunssum now, down in the Limburg district, NL.
