Being in Philly and the close suburbs, this happens a lot, and has been going on since at least the 1990s. I was drunk while driving home going through a middle-class negro neighborhood. The teenagers tried that shit on me. I gunned my car. While stupid, it was funny watching them jump on parked cars and scatter to get out of my way.
Unrelated, but I was on I-95 (sober, if you can believe that) trying to get off from the middle lane. Some very expensive-looking yellow car speeds up to block me. I slow down to leave him on his merry way. The sports car slows down to block me. I get angry. I speed up to get over. The sports car speeds up. I just came over anyway and scraped into his bumper. My shitty 95 Escort's rear bumper got a nice yellow coating all across it. I'm sure he appreciated my blue coating.
