Can confirm, there exist a plurality of people who don't understand that other countries are monoracial or close to it, and further that their people desire them to remain that way.

Imagine going to India and seeing that there aren't many black people around, and that the average Indian does not regard blacks particularly well (they are ok with whites, but not what they will call "niggers" without any hesitation).

In fairness it is a fair question when you look at the racial makeup of pretty much every other South American country. Post independence the black population of Argentina was estimated by some to be around 30%. Then the junta came along, such stats stop being maintained, the junta went away, and the black population of Argentina was below 1%. Whatever they did (I can guess tbf), it worked.
