AOL rebrand was in 1991, and it was available years before as QuauntumLink. All that pre-dates the internet for most people. As a general observation if it is vulnerable to Russian ops it is vulnerable to American ops. ... I don't think he was entirely wrong. He was wrong about (most of the) bots being Russian, but there were a hell of a lot of bots on Twitter, and more elsewhere. Musk has been spearheading filtering to slow them down, but they've had free reign until now and were sloppy. Now that filtering is being imposed there will be a war between smarter bots to bypass filters and smarter filters to try and catch those bots. Should be fun!
