physical attacks on substations using hand tools, arson, firearms and metal chains possibly in response to an online call for attacks on critical infrastructure… In recent attacks, criminal actors bypassed security by cutting the fence links, lighting nearby fires, shooting equipment from a distance or throwing objects over the fence and onto equipment,

So many bad actor to choose from that would benefit. Antifa makes the list for sure but also consider FBI, CIA, FSB, WEF, CCP, BLM, ISIS, etc. The list of people and groups who would love to see the US suffer goes on and on. This was an attack that has been often theorized for years so it is not like this needed much original thought.

And it'll get blamed on "right-wing extremist terrorist nazis" no matter what.

Right wing extremist Nazis should patrol around important infrastructure aarmed.

The approval seeking liberal feminist girls wouls begin to get a little excited about that protective machismo they instinctively crave, and transfer it away from the estblishment and back to men

A few seasons back when the wildfires were bad on the west coast, towns started setting up their own roadblocks and preventing outsiders from entering some areas. There was some media hand wringing. Coincidentally, the wildfires started to clear up. Also, some people were arrested for starting fires, including one liberal professor.

Similar thing happened during the summer of Fire-y but Peaceful where main streets looked like 2nd Amendment supporter fashion shows and again, coincidentally, riots and looting sprees spared some towns.

"Monkeywrenching" is a classic leftist tactic that is widely discussed and spoken of. Taking out electric substations is the sort of thing leftist guerillas have done for many decades. This is entirely their MO. Considering the lack of media interest, you can bet that is who you are dealing with.

If right-wing people were to engage in such actions it would be part of a major action, not just a terrorist attack to inconvenience people.

The most likely scenario is leftist agents working on behalf of some government organization are conducting these as a test/training run. The leftists learn how to do the job and the institution studies the public reaction, repair process, etc.

If they catch someone and it is a leftist, the media will just treat the piece of garbage like they treated the piece of garbage that fucked Paul Pelosi in the ass.

Attacks on the grid have been rare enough that it is hard to say. Islamists, anarchists, or accelerationists are the best bet though. Possibly in collusion with a foreign actor.

Let's have fun pointing and laughing at the FBI as they stagger around unable to figure out who did it.

Antifa is anti-electrification.

I'll quibble and say idiots don't come from Antifa, but Antifa utilizes available idiot stock.

With no one taking credit my money is on environmental activists, though it's entirely possible for them to also be antifa.

Heres what I heard:

it was ex veterans working as informants for the secret police.
And that elements of the letter agencies have been infiltrated and subverted by the right.

Think about it.

It makes perfect sense if you take the perspective of a resistance fighter.
1. If caught the secret police/FBI take the blame and no one believes them

2. de-legitimizes political/reputational attacks coming from the junta against the right

3. if not caught, it can be used to blackmail agencies, or be used to recruit more agents against the "corrupt FBI who did this."

4. they can always threaten to reveal the secret police's involvement to damage the junta further.

5. the junta provides the training/funding/cover thinking it can blame it on the right/moderates/political opponents among the citizens. The junta thinks it can use the crisis to loot the treasury some more and expand its power. It has no reason to fully reveal the mutual aid between the sides, even if higher levels become aware, because then it would look incompetent.

6. all the while this short term thinking helps the occupation but destroys and consumes DC's very credibility, legitimacy, and support in the long term, leading to more and more turn coats.

This is what is happening. This is the explanation.

At higher layers the affiliation of right and left loses all meaning and merely becomes a label of convenience. The goal on both sides is the same: the de-legitimization and collapse of the unlaw regime in DC and its secret police agencies.

It is unfortunate that they resorted to terrorism to do it though.
