I knew a guy who was into fraud. Despite having a conviction, he was able to get a job at bank of America by just changing a few minor details on his background info. Worked there for about a year collecting personal info on people.

This isn't necessarily new or exclusive to pedophiles which is why the sex offender registry was such a good thing when implemented. At least they show up on a map now.
