But you have to clear the area of shit you have in the way if you want to deploy the stairs. Kind of defeats the imaginary problem these "compact stairs" solve. Might as well just build some good stairs and a handrail that doesn't fold up.

Can someone give me a situation where that would be a necessary thing in a dwelling that the same result couldn’t resolved with an attic ladder. This seems to be the new hotness now where we already have a solution.

Would be great in a garage. Second level storage, stairs are out of the way until you need them.
Safer than a ladder.

Gotta buy the attic pull down pre-made and they are pretty shitty unless you spend a fair amount. Any retard could build this for less.
