It's just "climate change" now, so any kind of weather that seems a bit extreme will be treated as a symptom of human activity.

Remember that movie "Day after Tomorrow"?

Nice article but full of shit, I live smack dab in the "snow covered zone" and there's still grass growing, farmers who already planted for next year got fucked because it all germinated.

Meanwhile in Australia: floods and a freezing spring. November is usually above 30°C, closing in on 40°. Finally getting some nice spring weather now it's summer.

Snow Cover and Snow Fall are not accurate predictors of mean global temperature.

In the grand scheme of things, the freezing point of water is really warm. You can have lots of snow and still have it be 'warm' compared to past years. Anyone who has ever lived someplace that gets lots of snow will tell you that it is the warm air that brings snow, not the cold air. But the opposite could be true as well... If it is colder there could be places getting snow that normally get rain. The bottom line is that the entire premise of the article is pseudo-science bullshit.
