Nothing necessary wrong with being offended, it just means you have standards.

The problem is the wrong people are setting the standards and are hijacking the social mechanisms that usually keep society steady by inversing what's good and evil.

Without societal standards you don't have a society because no one can agree on where the limits are to degeneracy without the standards.
