I just received a job offer at a Cummins engine shop with $5000 sign on bonus. I went on the website to see if they require the vax, and sure enough they do. That was enough to make my decision. Then I noticed how many links were for diveristy, inclusion, Our Statement, multiple other bs items that have nothing to do with diesel engines. I was vomiting gay rainbows for 20 minutes. I legit thought I was on the wrong site. I confirmed its cummins. Fuck I thought this company made diesel engines. Well, I guess these new engines run on diversity and inclusion. Obviously I turned down the job, and with a few choice opinions.

Of course that wasn't enough for me. Turns out, they have a facebook page. They're super proud of the CEO change to some splittail who is only focused on social issues. The company is destroying itself. I imagine it will be hulled, refitted for e-shit, and sold to china.

i like this. yeah that's what I've been blanket posting all over their fb page and in the comments. funny though, I'm certainly not the only one. The comment section is literally piranhas over this move. They should have never tried to play the SJW card in this industry. It's bound to backfire big time. I think we should look at all the companies who recently installed Lightening Rods*(thanks for that) and SHORT THEIR STOCKS

they pay half after a few months, other half in a year or more, but deduct taxes on all of it up front, so you dont cut and run. not worth it, I'll spend more money jumping through hoops trying to get back into that life anywway. I'll wait for other opportunities. I'm trying to build something here. who knows, I might actually succeeed

Maybe we're not owed an explanation - but it is useful to have some understanding as to why things happen as they do. Personally I would not have a platform with a feature that is blatantly vulnerable to manipulation. It'd also be a real stretch to justify all the downvotes I get even on an individual level - assuming that is your game here. why would anyone trust this system? unless all voters, and all counters, and all candidates can be present from the beginning, throughout the duration, and until the final vote count, with tons of cameras, and oversight everywhere, it will always be defrauded. Literally every single voter would need to be in the same physical place to confirm the vote. This is just not possible. You laugh - but there is no reason particularly in this political climate to automatically assume mere text on a screen comes from a human being. The Pentagon has had access to bots that can in some way mimic human beings for at least a decade. And the tech is only getting more precise. Given my own experiences, what I know, and what I say and do - I think a lot of things are possible. But a lot of this is simply public record. Many just aren't aware.

they have been garbage for 20 years. I had an old 12 valve, put a 200gallon tank in the bed, filled it with used motor oil from a farmer, ran it into the primary tank, drove across the country 4 times without stopping at a diesel pump. carried a bottle of stanadyne to blow out the pump every so often.

the newer engines: $10,000 on injectors, lift pump before 200k. plus you gotta buy DEF just to keep the regen working. Fucking over-engineered trash. I'm a mechanic. I wathced them intentionally destroy the industry.

my experiences with cummins is that they are a shambles company, and drove out their experienced workers for newfags with degrees that cant turn a wrench. they avoid answering the phone or emails. your experience is not surprising.
