I am too lazy to look up actual dates, but I learned a few years ago the following---Sometime in the 1800's (1830's?) England banned slavery. Big uproar from the jews because, they were the ones who owned the slaves. The only way the English gov. could get an anti slavery Law passed was to pay off the jews. But the gov. can't just pay for the 1 slave the 1 jew owns, NO, doesn't work like that. How many slaves could the slave breed? jews said you have to pay for their offspring too, who were not yet born, and their offspring, and on, and on, and on. The part I learned = the English gov. made their last payment in 2017.
