Practically anyone can raise livestock -- humans have been doing it since we gave up the hunter-gatherer lifestyle countless millennia ago, but the finances, technical resources, and expertise needed to grow lab meat is beyond the means of 99 percent of humanity, therefore, once they've managed to squeeze livestock out of the equation, that 99 percent of humanity will be at the mercy of these same companies that openly declare humanity to be a problem in need of a solution.

Does that sound like someone you want to be dependent upon for your very life?
