No, fake sugar is just as bad as regular sugar. Alcohol and sugar are processed the same way by the body, sugar alcohols are no different.

Do you know the story of

Saccharin is an artificial sweetener that was invented by the GD Searle company. It is not metabolized by the body in any way.

It was patented and cannot be made by anybody else for 21 years or whatever the patent term is. At the end of that patent term GD searle company needed another sweetener that they could sell instead of saccharin because everybody was going to be able to sell saccharine and saccharin became very cheap. So GD Searle began to try to market asparatime.

Now asparetime is known to break down in the body into some harmful things which I can't remember at the moment but you can look them up. And despite many tries they were not able to get it past the food and drug administration or whoever it is that regulates food in the United states.

Well then Ronald Reagan was elected and the GD Searle company approached him and said we want to get this stuff approved so the way Reagan made it work was he appointed an extra member to the group of people who approve such things.
in that one extra vote got the thing approved. So once aspartame was approved GD searle company had a problem in that they were competing against their former products saccharin which was now being made by everybody and was much cheaper.

So what GD Searle then did is went out and they got a bunch of fake studies done where they stuffed mice with a known carcinogen as well as saccharin in huge quantities and then when the mice developed bladder cancer or some such thing they put out studies saying that saccharine cause cancer.

Well this was all nonsense it was later proved it was really the other thing that was causing the cancer and the mices were given so much more saccharine than any normal person would ever consume in any lifetime that even if it had been the saccharin it would have been meaningless.

but nonetheless all the little saccharin packets started saying may cause cancer blah blah blah.

So they did that to try to get
Aspartame To be chosen by the public. And twlo this day people still think saccharin causes cancer.

The lawyer for the GD Searle company who got aspartame approved for the FDA is the guy who later was in George Bush's cabinet who was Secretary of defense. I forget his name but it's that guy. I remember now. It was Donald rumsfeld.

anyway continued stories of that effects of asparatane are constantly released independent studies have shown all kinds of harmful effects and everything else such that many products now are marketing themselves as not containing a spare Time finally after decades of harm.

Annd behold the claims at saccharine cause cancer were reviewed and it was proven that the studies that had been funded by the GD searle company which was putting out the competitive product aspartame that those studies were all bogus so now you'll notice that the labels that say saccharin causes cancer have all been taken off the little packets because it was shown that those studies were false and saccharin never did cause cancer.

So just go by the pink stuff saccharin. Oh and by the way people are finally become aware of this so you got to be careful now because some asparatane products are now marketed in the well-known pink paint packets that used to indicate saccharine so be careful about what you're buying.
