Yeah. He's known for that. That strong Massachusetts accent - which the Irish immigrants like him picked up from the Anglo-Puritans already there - carries well for this sort of thing. Sen. Ted Kennedy, his younger brother, and a lion of liberalism, was similar if a less accomplished speaker.
