Anyone here using A steam deck as a Linux os? it's supposed to run windows programs

I would like to know a bit more before I go tinkering with this (I'm not buying it to play steam games, of anything I'll be playing GoG games or flash games on it).

Do the different versions really make a difference? It talks about faster ssds, but they all take a micro SD card, right? So I should be able to get a quality SD card (for cheaper than staam's mark ups for disk space) and run off there, right?

How well does it run windows programs

I'm asking if it can run windows programs and whether their pitch on the steam sales page about "faster" and "fastest" ssd type matters when I can buy a micro sd card and use that to run shit off of instead. Is there some weird barrier to using the sd card to run stuff off of? Do you own a steam deck?

The 64GB m.2 drive comes with all of them.

I'm confused by this sentence. Thwyball have different disk sizes. What do you mean the 64gb m.2 ces with all of them.

Just use windows if you want to be a gay and use windows programs. Get a steamdeck if you want to be a gay that plays gay video games like a big gay. Happy thanksgiving.

linux is not good enough to use as a daily driver. even today I know people hell bent on getting away from windows and there are not enough functioning programs on there(that also have quick ways to troubleshoot things when they go wrong). I recall some linux distro I downloaded and tried years ago had some dumb issue where a resolution was missing from the display control panel; I can only think that some faggot behind the scenes has a crusade against something to do with that, and I cannot be getting caught up in the faggotry. There are already enough issues and program compatibility issues with windows, the worlds most useful operating system.
