I have two cats. They're both great, the oldest one got pissed when we got the second, he basically moved out but he still follows me around outside as far as I walk... He even follows my truck around the neighborhood. He hisses when I touch him but he's still a part of our pack I guess.

He was the best cat until we moved in the little one. She's great though too. They actually both follow me outside

That deer is weak or tired. It should be bouncing around like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh. The one I harvested this year had a bullet channel from high on her right hip, down through the entire abdomen, and out the lower neck. She dropped immediately but when I walked up to her she still had enough fight to spring around a bit on three legs as her right rear hip was wrecked. It took one more shot with good placement to finally put her to sleep. Every year I'm surprised by the energy a wound up deer can put into a fight.

I think the deer did end up trying to run and the guy with the camera had to get out of his car and follow them. That, and it probably took the cat like an hour to wear it down.

that deer would have theoretically all the strngth and skill to shake that cat off of it.

I don't know the backstory, but some folks were saying cats tire out the head and neck area until prey can no longer stand upright, or it got a lucky jugular puncture.
