How's this for the boy downunder; the boy from the bush...I was cycling along the bike path near the Embassy Belt in Australia's Capital when I came across a middle-aged woman with a dog, maybe two (a big poodle-looking thing) followed by a tall gent. As is my custom with walkers, I nodded and the woman half-smiled back and then I thought: "you seem familiar" and as if she read my mind she started speaking with that unmistakable yankee drawl to her companion and then the penny dropped. I'm pretty sure the woman was Caroline Kennedy.
That is a mean, malicious comment but one I'd expect from you! Coincidence, timing...it's amazing. I now have a tiny link to momentous moments in history - President Kennedy, the Cuban Missile Crisis etc. And it occurred on an isolated bike path in Australia of all places!
