Any ways I caught here being a coal burning bitch,started the divorce and lost everything. So as this is going on I got stupid and hooked up with my boss who was 32 at the time. All I wanted was someone to talk to,well as the divorce went on and I lost my house(lost it to the Ex) and she turned around and sold it,my boss said I could move in with her. Well one thing lead to another and we started dating,and we were together since the summer of 2020. Well in October of this year Ifind out she's cheatting on me and when I called her out on it she kicked me out. Now I'm living in my truck or staying with friends. I'm at the end of my rope and don't know wtf to do. It's got so bad I for the first time ever have thought about ending it. Any advice would help an old goat out. Edit:found out the new chick was cheating on me when I went through her phone after it kept pinging all night.
You've had a rough couple of years, man. Without knowing you or your skills and interests, all I can offer is to remind you that you can recover, however shitty things seem. 45 isn't that late. Been looking but the ex wife got the bank acount and the fees for the divorvce wiped out my savings. A one room apartment in my area is $700/mo . I do have some medical problems and my meds cost a fuck ton. Blood clots,not shot related,I'm not vaxed.
I second the advice of getting off expensive meds if you can find an alternative. Diet and exercise might go a long way which will be easier once you secure a place to live. But it really can impact your health significantly, and faster than you'd expect if you're consistant.
Consider renting a room from someone, that's a cheap option and can be short term.
You also need a practical plan to get back a sense of dignity after what happened. I would leave women alone completely intil you have that. Having your own place will give this a boost, but having something you can work on mastering is what will fix that for you. A competative sport is ideal because as you get good you feel good, get the exercise that comes with it, keeps you around people and is a bonding experience, and every win pushes away the sense of loss you picked up from what you described.
But there's plenty of other skills and and hobbies you can pick up and work on mastering that will help you get that sense of dignity back if your medical issues would prevent sports. I'd still do something in the gym at least, unless you get exercise from your work.
Also this won't help you, but any other guys out there should consider having a hidden store of value if you're married that the wife doesn't know about. Imagine how much easier this would be for OP if he had $5k in gold coins in a safety deposit box? Or some bitcoin that nobody knows about? The time to put that in place is now, not when things get bad, and if you never need it for divorce then it can still save the day in an emergency.

If the latter there are a lot of details you left out about your current employment/financials. Also you drink or do drugs? Assuming USA?
Sorry you're in this situation. #1 on your list is going to be setting yourself up with the basics where you don't have to depend on anyone else for shelter etc.

Consider renting a room from someone, that's a cheap option and can be short term.
You also need a practical plan to get back a sense of dignity after what happened. I would leave women alone completely intil you have that. Having your own place will give this a boost, but having something you can work on mastering is what will fix that for you. A competative sport is ideal because as you get good you feel good, get the exercise that comes with it, keeps you around people and is a bonding experience, and every win pushes away the sense of loss you picked up from what you described.
But there's plenty of other skills and and hobbies you can pick up and work on mastering that will help you get that sense of dignity back if your medical issues would prevent sports. I'd still do something in the gym at least, unless you get exercise from your work.
Also this won't help you, but any other guys out there should consider having a hidden store of value if you're married that the wife doesn't know about. Imagine how much easier this would be for OP if he had $5k in gold coins in a safety deposit box? Or some bitcoin that nobody knows about? The time to put that in place is now, not when things get bad, and if you never need it for divorce then it can still save the day in an emergency.
