1984 is cool, but Brave New World is a more horrible vision of the future. Both are fairly accurate.

E: To contrast the books with this visual, imagine no sports, but because you are injected with drugs, you just enjoy working instead of "relax" time.

Toward the beginning of Brave New World, there was a part where no child had a parent. They were all raised by the community. Gender was fluid and little kids were encouraged and praised for homosexual activity. I laughed when I read that in the 80’s. Now it’s our actual ClownWorld.

In BNW it was worse than being 'raised by the village', they were conceived in bottles. They literally had no parents. They were assigned their entire future in that bottle. If you were going to be a laborer, you were made dumb and made to know you were that dumb, so that you wouldn't even want a good job.

All addctive behavior to control us like cattle through dopamine hits. None of this is constructive behavior. Efficient societies minimize pleasure seeking behaviors because they turn people into animals. We are zombie consoomers. How much of our economy is based on parasites exploiting us in this way?

Almost all of jewish endeavors are strategies like this— behaviors that pander to our irrational impulses and harm efficiency. Money lending and insurance fall in to this category too: rent seeking behavior.

Control your vices, that they do not consume you.

Far too many of us have been pushed/programmed into fanatical devotion towards hedonistic overindulgence. Part of de/re-programming yourself is to give up these pleasures, to only indulge occasionally.

The idea goes far deeper of course, but I suppose the TL;DR/meme/slogan version is simply: Control your Vices.

If athletes get paid millions of dollars for 6-7 years, imagine how much the owners make from them. You don't get paid as an employee if you're not making money for the owners, which is why big tech is seeing massive layoffs.
