Foxes are clever thieves and scavengers, they are known to eat carrion. Farmers have dealt with the cleverness of foxes for most of their lives ask any farmer you know and they will tell you how a fox tricked him or bypassed his defenses at some point or another.

Missing the point of the article, which is the main claim that the two groups are unfairly maligned. That's stupid, they both get hate for entirely legitimate reasons.
