The 1980s were a mix of old values and new propaganda. Old movies like Jaws are so good and such a stark contrast to the shit they make now. Parents shown as happy and in love. Kids polite and parents interact with them in a meaningful and caring manner. Beautiful dialogue.the shark is almost incidental.
