Knowing what I know now I would never have served in the military but the damage is already done. Fuck it. I’m a white male and never qualify for shit. So on 11/11 I’m gonna be out here getting some gibs. The one day a year I can see what it’s like to be a nigger.

To everyone who dealt with the bullshit like I did, go out there and get them gibs.

I'm with you. I joined 40 years ago and used to remember my service with some pride. But to tell the truth, one of the reasons I got out was because of affirmative action and women in the navy. I knew 30 years ago these two things were going to destroy the US military and I'm very sorry to see that I was right. All branches of the military now are a joke. The point of having a standing military (which the founding fathers disapproved of) is readiness, and our military is about as far from readiness as we can get.

I can only imagine. I spent some time TAD on a tender and found every single one of them mediocre at best and usually worthless. They're weak, lazy, and expect men to do the heavy lifting, and when they can't find a man to do the hard work, they whine and bitch about "discrimination". Plus they intentionally get themselves pregnant to get off the ship, leaving a gap that the men have to fill until a new body is assigned, which usually takes about three months. At least that was my experience.

My dad's side is all navy. He'd bitch about how useless the women were and how they'd try to get knocked up just to be kicked back home. They'd also get knocked up to avoid deployments outright.

My aunt (dad's sister) missed three deployments that way. They still think she's awesome. When I pointed out how she is the same as the other women suddenly I'm the asshole and not welcome to Christmas anymore.

All that PC shit hit the Navy hardest because the biggest thing to do was to get women out at sea. Fuck that shit. I was on a sub and there was plenty of drama already without pussy in the way. I saw a new wave of PC shit coming as well as the fuck job of being a nuke so it was a no brained to get the fuck out. It’s a good thing too because not too long after they are sticking bitches on subs. Fuck that noise.

Holy shit ... they're putting women in subs? Sub duty is hard enough with just a male crew. I can't imagine HOW they segregate women in such confined conditions without causing morale to plummet. I know submariners. They take exceptional pride in the difficulty in their work and maintaining readiness. Assigning women is only a recipe for disaster in every way. Women are incompetent sailors and should NEVER be on a naval vessel with men.
