They simply hurt people and then said that they'd continue hurting people unless their demands were met.
When you think about it, tis is how every political change happened to be made, even changes said to have ben achieved peacefully were actually accomplished through violent means.
The American civil rights movement had ties to terrorist groups, made threats of turning violent if demands continued not to be met, had people embedded within the government who were sympathetic to the cause and both willing and able to use violence against the system to win, and most importantly, they were a liability for the Americans in a war that was brewing between the the united states and the soviet union.
Violence is even a key factor in preserving the status quo, the police have their entire job be to use the threat of violence to force people to not break the law, and they back up those threats with acts of violence against lawbreakers.
Huge number of the people who work in tech and also a huge number of people who work in the administrative side the office workers of healthcare are gay. This wasn't always the case but boy in the last 10 years it's just taken off. I'm not really sure why this is. It used to be they gay people would work for a lot less money than straight people maybe because they couldn't get a lot of jobs or they didn't want a job with a lot of responsibilities just say so they could go out and have a warranties every night at their local bath house. And yes I'm totally serious. But now they taking jobs on the surface seem like they might pay more money.
