Had a sales guy in California come to the door selling this apple scented cleaner but he literally shucked and jived. Like the whole dance thing giving the run down of the product , when he was cleaning the window on the porch he did the whole dancing schtick. Then he said whatever I was cooking smelled wonderful and reminded him of his "mamas fried chicken and hoowee but ma'aam I sure am thirsty, would you by any chance have some grape drink or a slice of watermelon I can have"? Potatowhisperer if Im lying im dying because I just could not process what he asked me.

I gave him some lemonade because who the hell has grape drink and I even told him he doesnt have to do all of that I was going to buy it anyways but he kept going with the routine. It was honestly embarrasing for both of us. At least for me I dont how he felt about it.

Maybe his routine was to make people feel guilty but the product actually worked so I dont know why he did it.

I've just recently been making my own salad dressings. Great for sandwiches and such as well. Gets you off that soy-oil crap they have in stores. Literally none of the dressings don't have some form of it. That and the HFCS/sugar crap.

Think I'll make my own mayo next, though I've replaced that with sour cream, cream cheese, and such already to again get away from the soy-oil.

My favorite salad dressing is olive oil , adobo a little bit of garlic powder and vinegar. Shake it up and lightly sprinkle on the sald and done.

In my house, we cook our food ourselves. It costs a fraction of what delivered food would cost, and takes just as much, or less, time to prepare than it does to have food delivered. Also, it's dramatically healthier, more fresh, and more delicious.
