Depends on where you are. I fully believe the inner cities will become very violent very quickly. The suburbs will take some time. The leading cause of death for young surbanites in the beginning stages will be suicide.
There will be perhaps enough supplies and whatever the various national guard and churches can provide will keep the more civilized areas placated at first. Until they realize this isn't temporary and nobody around them has the skills or resources to produce food.

They've also been conditioned to believe white people are the cause of all their pain and suffering. Additionally they see lots of white people living much better than themselves who are mostly castrated and helpless, only a thinly spread force of police protecting them even in the best of times.
