I tried to read his book "Dark Alliance". There were so many facts stuffed in there it was a very hard read. Made harder in that it was the fucking horrific truth.

There was another honest journalist dude (edit, looked it up: Michael Hastings) that they made his Mercedes accelerate dramatically to a high speed and run into a tree whereupon it blew up. The regular police investigation was siderailed when the feds hauled the car off. It was ruled an accident and covered up.

I've been aware of his story and how he died. It's 100% true. He died from two (2) bullets in the back of his head, and his death was ruled a suicide. This is fact.

He published his continuing story in the San Jose Mercury News, which he later compiled into a book "Dark Alliance". You should look into it.
