I like how he used the updated 1.2 -1.4 million number, rather than the previous 4 million dead for Auschwitz. Yet curiously the 6 million remains in perpetuality.
Lol - the Germans removed all trace of death from dozens of different mass grave locations during war time no less.
'It was real in my mind'.
Joos got a law passed (in the early late 90's iirc after the treblinka findings) preventing any 'independent forensic work/ land disturbance etc' on any area considered a ww2 mass death site claiming something something 'Sacred memorial in situ'.

Not off the top of my head, but i remember from other posts on OG Voat, that it is an actual law/ prohibition on digging up the areas (core sampling/ and gpr etc) and examining to prove/ disprove the veracity of said place being a ww2 death site without prior approval of some Holocaust organisation. Iirc the guy (in this video) that did the work at treblinka got into all sorts of trouble afterwards and that was one of the things they tried to punish him for among the other things that happened to him (unapproved access/ disturbance of a joo memorial site) but it wasn't codified in any law at the time, so after much reeeeeing they went and had legislation passed for the whole of Europe.
