i had a granny that got Alzheimer's and she also had high blood pressure which eventually destroyed her kidneys and on top of that she also developed diabetes which in time caused her to get gangrene in her lower extremities.
dealing with her was very very difficult but it was doable. we took care of her (the whole family) until she passed away from renal failure.
her mind was gone too. you know what we got out of it? patience! lots of patience and endurance which are two things that helps you go thru adversity in life.
these girls not only are a test for the parents but a test for you and i because it is in how we react to them that we are going to be judged.
