You're not fucking those corporations. Most the shit in the grocery store was put there by vendors. The milk man, bread man, Frito man, snack man, fruit man, etc. Many are independent routes owned by your neighbors. Make sure you're, ahem "stealing", items that ship from corporate.
And OP should try swimming across Lake Michigan with no vest. Really, any body of water he can't feasibly make it across.
Every single word of yours is irrelevant to my comment.
Like I explained, you stealing those items only hurts your local route guy's bottom line. He still has to order that can of beans from megacorp to replace what you stole. Don't steal those items.
On the other hand, more than you think is produced "locally" by non megacorps. That yogurt plant up the highway with 75 employees, all those weird brands of salsa and jerky etc, those farm co-op products like chips and nuts: all probably got made by smaller companies and got there by local route guys. Don't steal those.
You're not stealing to fucking steal. You're stealing as a form of activism. Steal the shit that ships from megacorporate to megacorporate and the loss is 100% to megacorporate. Don't burn down your own neighborhood like a BLM nigger.
Shoplifting can lead to stores closing. Store closings lead to gaps in the market. Gaps in the market are filled with small local business. If nothing else,it's one way to get rid of mega corps.
But the problem with getting rid of mega corps is that you need someone to take over those services. You want to lose the corps, not the services. So be ready to start up some businesses once the big corps are gone.
