At worst 10 beers a night. Average, 4-6 a night. Being hungover in the morning was normal for me. Friday and Saturday meant I could drink more because I could sleep it off for an extra hour or two before I had to be up with the kids.
Oh yeah, that used to be me. I quit for about a month after someone mentioned that might be the source of some issues. Then resumed at a much lower level. Rarely have more than one beer or drink these days. Most days I don't have any.

Fireball is to whisky what dark roast is to coffee. I also drink for the flavor and not to get drunk and I prefer straight spirits. Mixed drinks usually have a lot of sugar and in general this is to make it more palatable for the fairer sex. You can tell by how a drunk is served (glass, garnish, flavor) if it's intended for women. Look at how much of the cocktail menu sounds like it's intended for women and that'll answer your question.

I was hanging out with neighbors last night and they were all drinking wine. Some I'm sure drank a bottle each. I used to be there with them but kept to water. No comments, but there were a few furtive glances. I still felt that overwhelming sense of peer pressure and a separate pressure to have a drink. I kept thinking that one drink would be fine.
