It's no better than the service I was getting with my 3G phone.
Worse at times, even.

In the US, it's been incremental rather than revolutionary, however wireless speeds have gone up. 5G represents a spectrum of technologies. I've seen UWB (I believe that's the trade name for microwave) go over 1Gb/s . Converting the TV signal was a good thing for mobile users. That is the best spectrum and was chosen for a reason.
