whoa dude... have you ever replaced the blades in a wood chipper it's the most time consuming thing and the blades aren't cheap... A 20 ft piece of rope can do the job about 200 times before it wears/frays on the fulcrum point. If you have a 20 dollar pully the rope will last basically forever. Plus as long as they are wearing pants there is no mess.

I'm perfectly fine with using worn out blades. Sure, it'll take longer to get the job done but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

I agree. People should watch how a mother dog treats her puppies. If you're not physical like that, a dog isn't going to understand. You don't have to hurt them or hit them, but they speak with body language -- not words. Yelling at your dog is a waste of time and just confuses them.

It's just like if you are trying to figure out if a dog is playing or being aggressive. You watch their body and their tail in particular. They bark for whatever. The noise doesn't mean that much.

I whooped my cats ass (lightly) for running away and hissing at me when I tried to catch him. I stomped my feet when I did it. Now he knows not to fuck around when I stomp my feet. He tried to make an escape recently and I started stomping my feet he froze up and I caught him. Last cat never ran away I could walk him without a leash. But he died @ 20 years old. RIP kisunchik.

Ours come on walks with us (almost) every day. Only one came with us today, but there were weird people she didnt know around so she went to the corner of safety and watched.

Without any doubt. They’re probably beyond help as well. Just put them in a kennel for a couple minutes and tell them why. It rarely takes physical abuse to seed a message to an animal unless it has already been taught to only respect such threats.
