There is about 40 meth head metal scrappers in my home town, they coulda picked that thing apart in 2 weeks.

And probably OD'd on week 3, win win.

Yeah I dont quite understand why they would want to scuttle a functioning boat instead of repurposing it.

What this made me realize is that ships sunk in war don't just fill up fast. Even if you could hold your breath long enough the currents inside the ship are tremendous and it's likely you wouldn't be able to swing or even hang on and would likely be slammed around and lose your breath.
