I don't get why so many people think that matters, you go nowhere except work and the grocery store anyway.

And when you can't do either of those because your vehicle was remotely disabled after you posted wrongthink on social media.....

I don't think that's limited to electronic cars tho. All modern cars are vulnerable.

I do think it would be easier to bypass a 'gov shutdown' EV than a modern petrol car, as with the latter you can't easily bypass the computer

You can retro any car back to the 3 basics if you have the knowledge and patience.

You can probably build your own brushless speed controller if you have the knowledge and patience or you can just buy one off the shelf.

That's a thing with modern gas cars as well.

The only way I'd ever go electric is with a custom conversion, that way I'd know it could be worked on.

Ford recently made a cargo van for 50k starting that they ‘designed’ to have a range of 120 miles. Thats with the smallest size option out of 3c, fully charged new battery, and ideal driving conditions. Not even mentioning any cargo load. If you load this sucker up to the max and have had it for a few years and try driving during the winter then you are fucked. Probably looking at a 20 mile range. Absolutely retarded motherfuckers.
