Is there a way to find out which ones they own? I'm down for occupying a new pad.

Just a good reminder that government overreach and arbitrary regulation are the number one cause of destitute poverty in the modern world.

Look at Venezuela as an example. They used to be rich before their socialist regime took power.

Pass on this knowledge to help free humanity from tyrants.

Yes and no. the charts on that page also tell another story: people are buying bigger, more expensive houses. look at the average square foot per person chart. Also, home construction from the 50's and 60's is VERY different from today, as well as building codes.

I think the story is two-fold, houses are getting more expensive, but people are also being greedy and expecting way too much. We have a 4 bedroom house, and a realtor told us it is a nice starter home. No, a two bedroom 1000 sq ft house is a starter home.

They aren't building them smaller though. You either buy a megahouse in a HOA or you buy an old, small, falling apart house. You can't get new small houses without fronting the money to custom-build one.

I imagine BlackRock and other corporations are still buying up entire blocks of neighborhoods.

No that would be BLM. Blackrock is funding the reeeeeducation camps.

if they were buying up nigger blocks and trying to gentrify them that would be fine, but they are buying up high end urban housing, gated communities paying WAY above asking price, which throws off the comps increases taxes and then renting them out to rappers and NBA niggers which makes all the rich Whites, Asians, and kikes want to gtfo of there thus creating more houses to buy. It's like reverse gentrifying.

The only thing that confuses me is what's the endgame. My guess is that they can get they plan to sit on those investments as the housing bubbles collapses alongside ridiculous inflation, eventually those houses they bought for 1mil will be worth 2 mill so they can tell investors they had 100% profits on their real-estate over 5 years.

Or maybe there is a big corporate tax break. Say BlackRock owns the property and they have a 25% "majority" (if you count their parent stock holder Vanguard group) in ... lets just say Lowes. So now Lowes puts all their high ranking Board members and CEO's in these blackrock rental neighborhoods. That "free house" will be included in their lowered salary. Lowes stock gets a little bump cause they paying all the upper brass less... Blackrock probably dumps a shit load of expenses on those properties AND can get tax breaks for those expenses since they are on property "upgrades"

I'd like to see that article but for Australia. Houses are getting smaller here, on smaller blocks - boomers are selling old 3-5 bedroom family homes to developers to make 2-20 small houses, town houses or units depending on block size. Or grouping up with neighbours to sell so a developer can make a large apartment block. These shitty town houses and units sell for ridiculous amounts. Probably because there is no stock because governments can't stop importing shitskins, allowing Chinese to buy for investment (or just to own a place and leave it empty) and governments won't release an adequate amount of the vast land available to so people can build new places.

Also I'm laughing at the the bit about quality because pre-1980 houses here are great quality and most have had a renovation to fix any issues like insulation. Meanwhile new houses are all built out of ticky tacky. It's quite common to for new builds to leak after their first rain. Houses are for shelter but the jewish developers can't seem to build something that keeps the weather out. Everything is the lowest possible quality for the biggest price they can get away with.
