When I refinished wood floors that was a saying we had. DURING THE HOUSING BOOM 2000-2008 I WAS BOOKED WEEKS IN ADVANCE.

Id show up at a house early monday and some amateur house flipper would be pissing themselves in the front yard.

"youre late!" I wasnt. They had 3 other properties they were juggling and had to sell one FAST!

"how quick can you get done?". Its gonna take 5-6 days.

"you work on saturday and sunday right?". (this from a guy that had hands like a babies ass). NO I DONT! "why not?" Because this job is hard enough without doing it 7 days a week.

"I have someone that will do it for half that much!". HAHAHA!!! Id actually say "Dont call me to fix it". and Id walk out. I was good at what I did and in demand.

What would it cost to replace the floor in a...I'm guessing 24x24 foot room that has what I think are hardwood. They're the wide hardwoods with the big seams and they look terrible. I think so anyways. It's a house I looked at online in Clearwater Beach and I'm curious what it would cost to rip out that ugly floor and replace it with nice dark gleaming hardwoods.

years ago real hardwood about $10 per sq ft. more now I'm sure. you can get a manufactured floor that snaps together and has a 50 year warrantee.

rule of thumb is every $1 you spend on a hardwood floor returns $4 in value added.

Lot's of jews in the development business. They always cut corners and hire illegals to do work that does not need inspecting. Even with the work that needs inspecting they try to pay off the inspectors.

Always ends up sucking for the person or company that ends up purchasing the property.
