If you have the form of defective color vision that these glasses will help, then you know what yellow is, you just can't discriminate it clearly.

But this video is pure bullshit because everyone can see white. And through those glasses white isn't notably white.

The color blind usually are only missing one or two colors. They can see a large swath of the color spectrum. This is fake and gay.

There are glasses that help the colorblind see a broader spectrum. This is fake though.

Agreed. In cases of mild color-blindness where the suffering can already generally guess the colors, they know what they're seeing when they put these on, and it is profound. I've heard that these glasses are pretty straining/disorienting and after the initial novelty, most colorblind quit wearing them.

Unfortunately, the company that makes them chooses to continue making sappy story adverts rather than develop the tech further into surgeries or better lenses/contacts. Extreme cases of colorblindness such as this kid? Yeah, he'd have no idea what the fuck he's seeing, considering they even work to that extent- which they don't.
