I wanted to run for mayor once in a tiny town and quickly realized how much I hate people.
They want to bitch about how they're being treated but not want to do anything about it because it might mean they have to work.


Because first the town would have to be its own municipality but oh no we can do that..why not?

Oh because this or that. Ok you realize that because this town is split into two municipalities the mayor's for those places get money for us but don't send it here. They keep it for theirs and advance their towns with that money.
Then they keep getting reelected because look at what a wonderful job they are doing in their municipalities but oh here well right here it's shit. Do you see why? But every couple of years those two shysters roll into town with their schmoozing and those fuckers fall for it and do it all over again.

Even going through smaller local boards/committees just doesn't work.
