@AugustineOfHippo2

That is the biggest cauliflower I've ever seen. Collect the seeds and plant more! Can that bad boy and eat it all winter!!

Lucky bastard. So sick of FL weather.

[ - ] AugustineOfHippo2 [op] 1 point 2.6 yearsOct 17, 2022 11:36:02 ago (+1/-0)

i tried to move to FL. i lasted 6 months and moved back. i like the change of seasons, and believe it or not, i like the snow. MN does have a long winter, but we don't have flying cockroaches and poisonous everything, and our skin isn't sunburned leather ;)

I've been here for a year, and around four months is about when I got tired of endless summer, after the week or so of good weather in late January. I love fall and winter and miss it more than pretty much anything. The heat of summer is nice when you've spent six months in the cold. When it warms up it feels great and you welcome it. When it's like that everyday year round, it just gets tedious. And Christmas doesn't feel like Christmas when it's 80 degrees outside.

I never planned on staying here permanently, but I didn't think I'd get sick of it so quickly. I don't think I'll return to CT, because they've lost their minds there, but I'm definitely going back north ASAP. Maine probably.

i grew up in CT, then after HS went to MA. I really do miss the northeast with all the history and mountains (but not the retard dems). The further west you go, the newer everything gets. MN is really flat, and you can hear the idiot motorcycles farting for miles and miles. surprising how i never heard that back east, as the mountains really do block that noise.
i wish you best of luck in your path back north, and i may be joining you in Maine some day...

It's 80 and balmy here in PCB

Climate change? Primarily heating the poles, lowering the temperature difference with the equator, weakening the jet stream, and thus causing large swings in temperature on a weekly cycle? Impossible! Surely, the 1.5 degree difference in global average temperature is the most visible effect of climate change (note: deliberately renamed from global warming), and not knock on effects like more frequent severe storms, drought, and other severe weather. I'll continue to bury my head in the sand and ignore a coming disaster, by pretending my deliberately poor understanding of the issue makes me immune to it.

It's a hoax to exert control through fear

[ - ] Sleazy 0 points 2.6 yearsOct 14, 2022 20:12:26 ago (+0/-0)

You sure do have a poor understanding of the issue

Sunny 78°

[ - ] con77 0 points 2.6 yearsOct 14, 2022 12:12:08 ago (+0/-0)

It's 80° sunny with a breeze in Florida.

When was the last time it snowed in Mid October? Last year and the year before, and the year before that, and the year before that.

[ - ] IfuckedYerMum 0 points 2.6 yearsOct 14, 2022 15:59:11 ago (+0/-0)

Depends on where you are. In CT it hasn't really snowed in October in several decades. Even northern Maine isn't getting snow until November these days.

I think it's been a while, but there are many, many weather patterns that are inconsistent. For example, when I was a kid I recall most rainfalls to be medium amounts of rain. It's was usually the same every time it rained and the whole day was rainy. Now it varies so much with the quantity of rain and the sun is partially shining sometimes. Winters always had a good amount of snow, whereas now we'll go 6+ years at a time without a heavy snowfall. Some years we get almost no snow. And according to the farmers almanac there has never been a consistent pattern; not even the month winter ends is consistent.

Winter.. is coming...

[ - ] HowDoYouDoFellowNiggers 0 points 2.6 yearsOct 14, 2022 22:51:26 ago (+0/-0)

Is this nuclear winter? Is that COVID climate change caused by the homo dickbuttism?

[ - ] puppy528 4 points 2.6 yearsOct 14, 2022 10:35:12 ago (+4/-0)

Climate changed from summer to fall; proof the white male needs to pay!

50 degrees cooler and no niggers here in N. Arkansas.

[ - ] Sector7 0 points 2.6 yearsOct 14, 2022 17:20:34 ago (+0/-0)

Best coast weather here, and zero niggers for decades previously. Up to around 2% now, but not enough to move to a hellhole yet.

It's been hot where I am lately. Must also be climate change.

Happiness ... is ... two kinds of ice cream, finding your skate key, telling the time. Happiness, is walking hand in hand.

Winter is pleasant.

You must be a city slicker. Around here, I make the peasants carry ice from the mountains.

[ - ] pickingrinninspittin 2 points 2.6 yearsOct 14, 2022 08:53:57 ago (+2/-0)

Nah, it's Trump's fault. Or the Russians. Though that's the same thing, really.

[ - ] HowDoYouDoFellowNiggers 0 points 2.6 yearsOct 14, 2022 22:44:50 ago (+0/-0)

How are you people even thinking about the Zion Don at this point?

[ - ] solomonpapermaster 0 points 2.6 yearsOct 14, 2022 08:44:02 ago (+0/-0)

October snows happen though not that often. This one is very wet. It's all going to melt during the day.

[ - ] AugustineOfHippo2 [op] 1 point 2.6 yearsOct 14, 2022 10:31:39 ago (+1/-0)

I've been here 20+ years, and although my memory is not that great, I will say this is the earliest I've seen.
On average, we have a 50% chance of snow around Thanksgiving.

[ - ] RedBarchetta 1 point 2.6 yearsOct 14, 2022 11:15:24 ago (+1/-0)

It snows every October in the Sierra. EVERY YEAR. Granted Oct 14 is rare, its usually around the 25th if we are going to be technical. Ive seen it snow in September.

[ - ] knightwarrior41 1 point 2.6 yearsOct 14, 2022 08:29:35 ago (+1/-0)

Thats climate change

[ - ] fnbs 0 points 2.6 yearsOct 14, 2022 11:33:32 ago (+0/-0)

I thought it snowed nine months out of the year in Minnesota

[ - ] bobdole9 0 points 2.6 yearsOct 14, 2022 13:23:45 ago (+0/-0)

Never dealt with more snow or cold than the winter I lived in Lakeville. Good luck on the next six months of snow!

[ - ] AugustineOfHippo2 [op] 0 points 2.6 yearsOct 14, 2022 20:56:10 ago (+0/-0)

it's shaping up to be a long winter, but we have seasons passes at the local ski area :)
last year was pretty mild, so we'll see how this year goes - especially with the cost of heating nowadays....
