UN countries are debating a resolution introduced to the General Assembly by Ukraine, which the West hopes will demonstrate the isolation of Putin’s Russia on the international stage, with a vote likely on Wednesday or Thursday.

I don't know why the included this but Russia is on the security counsel of the UN with veto power. There will be no vote unless Russia feels the outcome will benefit them.

Taiwan, the Vatican, Malta, Western Sahara, Kosovo, Transnistria, South Ossetia. Dozens of autonomous regions of various countries. Countries that only a few other countries recognize as independent states or sovereign states.
