If nukes are real then why not detonate one in space for everyone to see? A night time detonation would put the fallout downwind of the sun's solar wind.

Impossible. Speakers do not radiate sound spherically. They do radiate omnidirectionally but not uniformly enough to call it remotely spherical. At best you experienced a line array.
