It is interesting, and I am torn on the possibility.
I would say I am a novice student of Bible prophecy, and I don't particularly know the exact order of things. That said, it seems unlikely that a nuclear war would happen before a lot of things before and during the tribulation.
For example, the recent push for the coof digital id - and the prophecy of the mark of the beast.
Even the battle of Armageddon is going to be fought with 200,000,000 troops against Jesus. I don't see that many soldiers being available any time soon after a nuclear war. Although - the battle of Armageddon also mentions horses - and that has always baffled me. That's a lot of horses too.
Would Christianity and the Bible survive the time needed for the world to repopulate and the 2 witnesses to arrive after all the nuclear devastation? I don't know. Just some things I think about.
