Accurate statement. People who present as not understanding word meanings in this case probably fall into two main groups. The average IQ contingent probably make up the bulk, and basically just know the word pedophile means "bad". The second group is more insidious, and use the word pedophile for sexual interest in post-pubescent children to blur the lines between sex with 6 year olds and 16 year olds.
