My AV flagged TeamViewer as dangerous app. Is it?

I used it when it was free. Never tagged as a virus. But when they made unrealistic demands on users of the "free" version, I switched to AnyDesk. Much better, and still free.

came here to say exactly this. Use anydesk, Teamviewer hates their free users.

Always funny performing the "magic" of taking over a family member's computer to fix it for them from a thousand miles away.

I found it was very handy when my old dad was bed bound and watched a lot of video, mostly his collection of movies and TV shows. When he had trouble, he'd call me at work and I'd fix the problem remotely.

wasn't teamviewer hacked a few years back?

i have used anydesk with intermittent success on a linux mint box. sometime issues with password or being able to see the pc on the same network.

Probably only used by faggots who don't do real work
