con was one of those accounts that had implausibly high post counts in 2019 per that notorious Voat statistics thread. Something like 60 posts per day. TheBuddha ran up over 70 per. Often long ass posts too. All while working around his farm, being a chick magnet, car enthusiast, ex-marine, band leader, retired rich guy MIT physicist grad, etc. But yeah, con looks almost as bad.

You'd almost think the FBI bought accounts of well known users to infiltrate Voat then used bots or multiple agents using the accounts on different shifts...

I don't think you need to be a fed to be anti-Q. Feds aren't the only one's in the market to buy accounts. There are PR firms (social media perception firms), that lie in wait for one of their clients to be in some trouble and they make an effort to turn tide. It doesn't have to be for one client. They get a long list of clients so they are more likely to be able to do something productive.

If you want to see it in full force just go to notabug.io. Go1dfish from way back in the day made it. But it got bot dominated by one of these firms. Notabug is an example of what they wish they could do elsewhere and make an effort to. Hardly anyone is on notabug so the fact that they have someone there 24/7 (I've tested it with multiple forms of content they target), means they have an agent on pretty much every forum. There that agent is able to nuke any post targetting pfizer with up to -60 votes in a second with a gpu-based PoW hasher.

There are of course a lot of possibilities. In my case specifically it helps to be me, know my experiences with glowies, then believe me if you're not me. As well as take into account that even I know some of this is guessing. Good guessing though.

Beyond that the larger point highlighted by your post is how laughable it is that anyone still bases anything like popularity on the voting system - as it can be so easily manipulated for any interest. I don't think those trolling me with how unpopular I am based on it even believe their own bullshit.
