Man I’ve heard 100s of this exact type of claim about stories like this, and they’re always myopic or just a stretch.
But this is 100% true.

what really made it disappear, other than the bad polling, was that they fucked up and one of the four pipes is still intact. simliar to the bridge attack they just did - russia had trains and cars running by the end of the day.
