I'd be interested in hearing about the gardening class he was working with for the one school and how he feels about this usda registration for community gardens.

Also if he still is in Hawaii if he heard any of the rumblings late last year earlier this year about using local agriculture to provide food for the schools because the kids weren't eating the " mainlander" food the schools had to buy to stay within the usda guidelines.

I think that whole local food conversation died but I thought it was a great idea. @rhy
