well no shit, its the most popular.

I hate chrome btw. You should not have to login to a web browser. I know you dont have to, but its a bad start. I know more about chrome than that, like why the fuck do they want to cache 302's FOREVER? thats retarded and I've had to make code change over it just because every noob in existence uses chrome. Other browsers dont cache 302 and follow them forever, only chrome. Fuck you I didnt use the 302, my boss did, I replaced it so users could log in again lol.

I think login is needed to sync your browser data to a new computer.

exactly, why the fuck would I want that? Talk to me about secure passwords, while syncing everything everywhere.

duping my browser on another machine is the last thing I want, so ofc, it's built right in

probably best not to think about whether they can do it anytime, especially since I know they could

Could it be that more popular browsers are just combed through by more eyes and thus more security vulnerabilities are found? All of the open source browsers were listed as the top vulnerable browsers, which makes me wonder if there’s some sort of a sampling bias in this data. Apple is not friendly with security researchers either so they might ignore or under report.

I think they at least allow things like uBlock Origin and NoScript, at least on desktop.

Chrome has 65% of overall, and 77% for desktop. They're the Microsoft of web browsers. I've never liked Chrome. Firefox etc. has more customization options.

It's a feature, not a bug.
